Independent High Holiday Services at the JCC East Bay

High Holy Days: Berkeley Community High Holy Days Services 
with the Jewish Studio Project

These services are entirely funded by attendee donations.

Once again, join the Jewish Studio Project team, Rabbi Adina Allen, and musician Jeff Kasowitz, who will lead inspiring Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services at the JCC East Bay. The services will be liturgy-grounded, song-infused, intention-driven, and justice-themed. On OCT 9, stay for the Yom Kippur break-the-fast potluck after sundown. All are welcome!

Rabbi Bridget Wynne leads these engaging and inclusive services, along with musician Joel Siegel, in both English and Hebrew. Services are open to all. The services are welcoming, creative, and address the big questions of life with openness and honesty. We gather outdoors beneath and around a comfortable, heated tent.

Older Adult Holiday Community Lunches

Senior: $7, Mitzvah: $14 (for your lunch and to subsidize someone’s meal)

Celebrate the holidays with a delicious meal, a nice schmooze, and traditions new and old. Join friends, community members, and our Shamash Resident for these warm, welcoming, and festive celebrations.
