Oak campers flex their independence as they take on new challenges and explore the dynamic culture in our own backyard-- crafting their own adventures as they pursue maturing interests. Led by experienced guides, campers will dive into wilderness exploration,
safely enjoying the great outdoors, as well as enjoying urban adventures across the Bay!

Our Redwoods assume positive youth leadership roles and help build our community by promoting tikkun olam (repairing the world). They build character and grit, understand and promote empathy, and challenge themselves and each other to be impactful citizens.

CITs

Our program is designed to give grades 9 & 10 opportunities to develop leadership and  professional skills, all while building friendships and having a blast. Each session begins with staff training and evolves with CITs playing a role in thematic programming, being near-peer mentors for younger campers, and helping to develop our Friday programs.

Refund Policy (2020)

Camp @ JCC East Bay fees are determined each year and are subject to change yearly. Sessions must be paid in full by May 22, 2020 or you MUST be enrolled in an automatic pre-approved payment plan by May 22, 2020, including any specialty fees and AM/PM Care fees. No refunds will be given for any session after this time. If there is a missed payment or declined payment, your camper cannot attend camp until this payment is made. There will be no refunds given should your camper not be allowed to attend camp due to a missed or declined payment.

No refunds for partial sessions will be given. You must sign up for the session dates as determined by Camp @ JCC East Bay. You cannot mix sessions, i.e. coming 2 days of one week and 3 days of a second.

If you should need to add or change choices of a session, notice must be given to the Camp Manager by the Thursday of the week prior to the start of the session. No changes will be accepted after a session has begun.. No refund will be honored if notice is not received by the deadline stated. Sessions have limited space available and changes or additions will only be made based on availability.

If a camper is going to be absent for any reason, you are expected to notify the camp office. You are responsible for fees regardless of a camper’s attendance.

If a camper is dismissed from Camp @ JCC East Bay due to a behavioral violation, no refund will be given.
