Vacation Camps

Winter Break Camp Registration @ Berkeley Branch open now!

School is out and camp is in! This winter, campers can spend their school break enjoying their favorite activities like music, art, science, field trips, and, of course, Gaga! Fill their vacation with new friendships, new interests, and plenty of adventure with the JCC East Bay's long-running break camp.

During the week of December 24-28, Winter Camp will kick-off the week with a Belated Hanukkah Bonanza featuring dreidels, doughnuts, and our first-ever Maccabi Winter Olympics. We'll have wilderness exploration from climbing Indian Rock to cruising down the epic slide at Codonices Park in Gems of the East Bay and a magical Harry Potter-themed Shabbat to end the week.

For the week of December 31st-January 4, we're hosting a fun-filled (and oh-so-secular) New Year's Eve Party with dancing, decorating, and l'chaims (a toast to life) over our finest grape juice. We'll learn about sustainability in our Up-cycling Crafty Creations class. Our wilderness explorers will trek through Live Oak Park and smell the buds at the Berkeley Rose Garden in Gems of the East Bay and a super-powerful Superhero-themed Shabbat to wrap up our adventures at camp.
