Volunteer Opportunities at JCC East Bay

Usher for Arts and Culture Events

The JCC hosts an amazing repertoire of musicians, performers and speakers every month. You can attend our events for free in exchange for your volunteer time. Ushers direct patrons, take tickets, hand out programs, and sell concessions and merchandise.

Challah sales

We now offer fresh challah for sale every Friday. All proceeds support the programs here at the JCC. You can bring a taste of Shabbat to more of our community and make friends at the same time!

Setup and Serve Senior Kosher Lunch

The JCC East Bay has the only Kosher Lunch Program for seniors on this side of the East Bay. We need YOU to help us keep it going. Volunteers greet, serve and socialize with our Older Adult patrons. Do you have a few hours on Mondays or Thursdays to assist with setup and serve our well-deserving elders? Come, do a mitzvah and help out!

Reception

Are you a smiling face? Do you love to meet and greet people? Bag bagels in our Nosherei, say hello to patrons and answer the phones. Help us make a great first impression with visitors to the Community Center.

Office Support

Our administration, programs and marketing departments could all use a helping hand! Can you assist us with projects that need focus and concentration? Are you a great organizer? Would you like to help us send out mailings? Then we would love to have you help!
