We Offer Many Activities to Older Adults
The JCC of the East Bay offer many classes and groups for seniors.
Programs for Holocaust survivors and Kosher lunches are only some activities
for seniors. We have put the following graphic
by groups, classes and events that you might enjoy.
JCC Programs Older Adults Enjoy
Activities that seniors might enjoy include card
and game groups, Le Club, an arts and Entertainment Group, and special exercise
workouts. Don't forget our library with it's collection of contemporary fiction and nonfiction.

Shalom to you all! I am very excited to be joining the JCC family and I have already had the great pleasure of meeting many of you. As this new year begins, I want to wish you all sweet blessings and strength. I hope to meet even more of you at our expanded programs throughout the year. Feel free to stop by my office, Room 6, to say “hello”—my door is always open!

New Programs at the JCC!
We have lots in store for this coming year! We will continue to offer you the programs that you are most familiar with, including: mah jongg, yoga, dance and exercise, discussion groups, and our kosher senior lunch on Mondays and Thursdays.
In addition, this year we are planning a variety of new programs including local and long distance excursions (with transportation!) and more on-site activities and programs.

September
We will have a JCC booth at the Solano Stroll on September 9 th on Solano Avenue. Drop by and say hello!
October
This month, we will be taking a trip to the Santa Clara International Quilt Show on October 12 th, and setting up a booth at the North Berkeley Spice of Life Festival on October 14 th.
November
Read any good books lately? Join our new Book Club and discussion group. Or get your hands in the soil in our expanding garden areas. Help our JCC bloom!
December
Don’t forget to come to our annual Chanukah Fair on December 8 th and bring the grandkids! The next day, take a trip with us to the festive Community Menorah lighting in Emeryville on December 9 th.
January
We will adventure out to the San Leandro Butterfly Garden and have a private tour of this magical annual migration of the Monarch butterflies.
February
Along with many other community groups, we will be heading out just before dark to Havdallah Under the Stars in the Berkeley hills.
March
We are saving you special seating at our Jewish Music Festival shows from March 8th through the 25th.
