Modern Hebrew – Level B

This moderate level Hebrew class is intended for students who can already read and write, but have little knowledge of grammar or vocabulary. This course is part of the ongoing Hebrew education series at the JCC.

One level up from Modern Hebrew B, this class is intended for students with a general knowledge of grammar or vocabulary. This course is part of the ongoing Hebrew education series at the JCC.

Modern Hebrew – Level E

If you have recently returned from an Ulpan program or another Israel program, or are a graduate of Modern Hebrew D, this is the course for you! The class will be heavily conversational and complex grammar will be tackled.

Conversational Hebrew

A forum for advanced students to enhance their language skills and practice Hebrew with others. Special emphasis will be placed on current events, Israeli culture, and popular Israeli music.
A graduate of Bryn Mawr College and Tel Aviv University School of Law, Rena Shahar runs a hand-painted ceramic business and is studying for a Master’s Degree in environmental education. Ms. Shahar has taught Hebrew privately, and at the JCCSF.
