Center Stage in Berkeley

Afterschool Program - Berkeley Site

Center Stage, the JCC’s Berkeley after school program, serves children in kindergarten through sixth grade. From homework help to creative art projects, working in the garden or playing games, our staff is here for your child. Jewish education is integrated into the curriculum. Ongoing through the school year.

Kindergarten Program
Through group play, our kindergartners develop social skills and self-esteem. Children engage in activities that involve science, art, cooking, gardening, sports and Jewish cultural programming.

First Through Third Graders
Our early elementary students enjoy daily activity choices, including art projects, cooking, sports and games, drama, chess, computers and forms of free play.

Fourth Through Sixth Graders
“The Lounge” is specifically designed for this older group of students. Our fourth, fifth and sixth graders do homework, use the computer lab and hang out with friends.

Hours for Center Stage are 11:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Full days offered on most Berkeley Unified School District holidays. Registration accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 510.848.0237 to request a brochure.
