Olam Yeladim Philosophy

Jewish Community Center of the East Bay is proud to support Olam Yeladim (OY) after-school program. OY, a fully licensed program, is a favorite after-school destination for elementary school children grades K-6. Each day includes may fun-filled activities in a positive Jewish environment where your children can:

—Experience

Children experience themselves and the world around them: Jewish culture, ethics, history, and language; caring, diversity, responsibility, and community

—Create

Children create through arts and crafts, drama, dance, cooking, and creative play.

—Play

Children play a wide range of indoor and outdoor games in a non-competative setting. Sports include soccer, basketball, wiffleball and a range of 'new games'.

—Enjoy

Children enjoy their home away from home, their JCC friends and family.

Our OY Program

The OY program provides your children with a safe and warm environment in which they develop a sense of independence and experience community. In OY, we design our program around the specific needs of each age group. Parents are confident their children are in a secure and enriching environment.
