A multidimensional night of music – designed and created by the JCC East Bay and Guest Curator Adam Theis – East Bay Live celebrates the innovative, eclectic, and diverse East Bay music scene. This forward-thinking collaboration of creative, independent, and diverse music will feature DJ Max Kane, Otis McDonald, Kev Choice, and more. Come sing, dance, and celebrate with us!

The JCC East Bay is a welcoming, inspiring home for people of all ages and life stages, and serves and reflects the diverse residents of the East Bay community. We aim to create healthy communities inspired by Jewish values, culture, and tradition. We are thrilled to kick off our fall season of cultural arts programs in the heart of downtown Oakland!

Jazz Mafia, founded in 2000, is a collective of the Bay Area’s most talented musicians, singers, and MCs, and combines original music with classic hip-hop, jazz, electronica, R&B, soul, and Afro-Cuban styles. As Jazz Mafia’s director, Adam has assembled over 100 different live projects over the past 17 years and led/co-led dozens of acclaimed bands.
