The JCC East Bay is thrilled to present the latest work from the acclaimed Los Angeles-based Jewish Women's Theatre. Join us for More Courage -- a performance of stories, plays, and poems that explore acts of courage, large and small.

The Jewish Women's Theatre is putting its unique "salon theatre" spin on a powerful new theme: the human capacity to transform lives and inspire change with a single moment of bravery. We all want more courage, and we've all known times when it seemed in short supply. In this empowering celebration of original storytelling, actors will interpret the work of Jewish and Muslim writers for a timely, honest, and often even humorous look at what it means to be courageous.

Jewish Women’s Theatre is redefining Jewish theatre for our time, and not just for women. JWT aims to leave no Jewish story untold, while celebrating the truths that connect us all. Encouraging and supporting both lay and professional writers and artists, JWT inspires and performs original works that empower and educate individuals, create community and build cultural legacy. Now looking ahead into their 10th season, JWT has created 25 original shows and has performed to sell-out audiences in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and the Bay Area.
