Dave Pell and Phil Bronstein will discuss technology and its impact on our daily lives, including how to discern what is meaningful when bombarded with a constant stream of information.

Dave Pell is the author of NextDraft, a curated news daily email, syndicated by Time, and the blog Tweetage Wasteland.  From the Bay Area, Dave is the son of Holocaust survivors, and brings his Jewish upbringing and perspective to his witty and poignant writings. As Rainn Wilson says, “If you like technology, ideas and culture, subscribe to the mind of Dave Pell".

Phil Bronstein is the Executive Chair of the board for the Center for Investigative Reporting in Berkeley, California. He also served as senior vice president and executive editor of the San Francisco Chronicle as well as being nominated as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his work as a reporter.
