Israeli-Palestinian Issues: Moving from Conflict to Commonalities

Part of the Talking Table, an interactive lecture series presented by Time Well Spent at the JCC East Bay.

This presentation will highlight commonalities between the two peoples, in light of the presenters’ belief that lasting peace will only be possible when each side sees the other as equally human. Presentation includes Q & A.

 

Seema Dajani comes from a prominent Palestinian family with at least a 500-year history in Jerusalem. She was a co-facilitator of the East Bay Jewish-Palestinian Dialog Group. She has presented her Palestinian perspective at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay, a Jewish-Palestinian presentation. She co-founded, and participates in, a German-Palestinian-Jewish dialog circle.

Judy Gussmann is of Eastern-European Jewish descent. She was co-facilitator of the East Bay Jewish-Palestinian Dialog Group. She’s designed and facilitated intra-Jewish Deep Listening about Israeli-Palestinian issues through Kehilla Community Synagogue and the Jewish Federation. She co-founded and participates in, a German-Jewish-Palestinian dialog circle.
