Camp Staff Positions
Work at Camp Tzofim!
Come join the staff at one of the East Bay summer camps. We have been running our traditional summer camp for over thirty years! Not only will you get the chance to work with some of the best staff this side of the bay but also enjoy hitting up many of the local lakes, beaches and regional parks!
About JCC Camp Tzofim
JCC Camp Tzofim is a traditional summer day camp with an Oakland twist. Our base of Operations is Redwood Day School in the Oakland Hills. There are swimming lessons and camp fires, fieldtrips to Cull Canyon and Tilden Park, camping trips and day long adventures to many locations the bay area has to offer. We celebrate Shabbat every Friday and incorporate Judaic themes throughout camp programming, yet pride ourselves on being inclusive to all religious beliefs and practices demonstrated by the diversity of the staff and campers.
The Camp Tzofim Staff is a team that works together to create a community of youth, where each member is enriched by the experience. Our emphasis during the eight weeks of camp is to nurture the campers in a safe environment that allows them to feel a strong sense of community as well as celebrate the individual. The Camp Tzofim team includes people of both Jewish and non-Jewish backgrounds who are committed to enhancing the lives of children in positive and meaningful ways. JCC East Bay is an inclusive agency that serves both Jewish and non-Jewish populations.
