Perachim (Flowers): Playtime for Toddlers and Caregivers

With Monika Clark

This open space offers toddlers a chance to explore, expanding their large motor skills through physical activities and using fine motor skills for art and projects including scooping, pouring, painting and puzzles. Parents and caregivers have time to get to know each other while toddlers play. Sharing and kindness are modeled and facilitated by Monika Clark, former JCC Preschool teacher. Each week includes a toddler-friendly Shabbat celebration. All backgrounds are welcome: All faiths, single parents, LGBTQ parents, adoptive parents.

Ages: Caregivers with children from 12 to 30 months

Time: 9:30–11:00 am

Winter Session: 10 weeks: Fridays, January 6 – March 17 (No Class 2/17)

Spring Session: 10 weeks: Fridays, April 21 – June 16 

Summer Session: 5 weeks: Fridays, July 7 – August 4 

Fees: $195 Member/$220 Non-Member (10 weeks)

Nitzanim (Buds): An Intimate Parent with Baby Group

A new baby changes everything - from your relationships to your sense of self! Meet other parents of young babies, share stories, offer support, and learn from each other. A Jewish space for parents and families where all backgrounds are very welcome. Pre-registration required.

Stacia Biltekoff is a Doula, Support Group Facilitator, and president of the Board of Directors of BirthWays with a BA in Early Childhood Education.

Ages: For parents with babies from newborn to 12 months
